Oh, uh Toon, those pictures are out there--on Flickr or Tumblr (just kidding!)
And I had(and still have)an army jacket too...I can remember crunching five miles through the snow, just to see Yentl in the only theater in my town that was showing it. Memories light the corners of my mind...
I didn't have an army jacket but we did grab a couple of white meat coats from the market and died them purple.
I think I knew you back then ;-)
Now I love this Toon, simply adorable!
When I first saw the rendering, I thought, "wow, Russ carried a yoga mat around!" LOL I remember man-perms . . . what a funny fad.
Oh... what a look! I used to wear my Topsiders with no socks year round..!
Such a warm drawing... makes me feel a lot better about a lot of things..!
wish i could see a perm pic. haven't we all had regrettable perms? love the idea of you as a college student.
