Echo Paula, she's completely right. Your description is really touching--did (or has) your perspective on the big city changed since you've been there?
Far as I'm concerned, it was fairly disappointing.

I love dreams like that.

Oooooh....this is beautiful. I used to go to a beach where someone had planted an old swing set in the sand so you could swing out and feel like you were over the water. I'd like to dream about that now. -Cin

the other night, i dreamed of walking across a bridge that had been new when i was a teenager, some 25 yrs ago. i've not even seen it in fifteen years! but i was strolling along and i remembered details like how the bolts were and the weld~spots and the paint and the concrete supports, the ladder that ran up the highest point of the span. it was a disturbing dream, cuz it didn't seem to have a point.

I like yours way better.

So you want to be a swinger in the big city?

almost 50 but not quite said...

the only good thing about not having time to read your blog for awhile is that when i finally do, it's like opening Christmas morning.

i have dreams about driving with my eyes closed
and getting on rides at amusement parks that turn into death traps and accidentally starting fires while trying to fix things.

freud would have loved me.
