feelin' dumb

This is how I've felt the last few weeks after signing up for poetry classes. I thought it would be fun to try and it kinda was -- except it turns out I really don't have any natural abilities in that area. New tricks, old dog. Yup, I see what they mean now.

P.S. Thank you, blogger buddy Elizabeth for giving me as much help as you could. I'll leave the poetry to you from now on.

Awww, if I can type and laugh at the photo at the same time, now that is something I cannot do, juggle two things at once, no gum and walking, just popping bubbles...

I saw talent in your poem my dear...it just had to come out when it is ready. I signed up for my guitar and music lessons again, and I almost gave up, until an open mic friend, a Julliard grad told me I had a beautiful voice.

Just you wait little sis, I can sing! Toon is a poet!

Sometimes all I learn from a class is something I'm not all that swell at. So it goes. :)

I think that I shall never see...
a poem as lovely as a bush.

See, I suck at poetry too. At least you can draw!

Well at least you tried, that is more than many folks do. Besides, you are extremely talented in art so you have nothing to complain about. I can't do either so I can relate to your graphic!!! LOL
