Yes, you can still purchase Fruit Stripe gum! I'd wondered if it still existed in a recent conversation with my buddy T, and she went out and bought me a pack. I loved this gum as a kid -- it had a wondeful artificial fruit flavor and each stick was striped like the zebra mascot that advertised it. It tastes exactly the same as it did forty years ago. Hooray for things that never change!

Not familiar with the gum but the zebra has such sweet eyes.

My dog, Wilson, has a stuffed zebra named BeechNut. (he knows his toys by name)
I loved that gum, too. I saw it in a store recently and couldn't resist - exactly like I remembered it.
This post made me grin - and I'm pretty sure it's not the wine. :)

I had a piece a few years ago and it still loses its flavor quickly :o) Great while it lasts though.

I had forgotten about that awesome stuff and it's bright stripes. Rumor has it the cartoon zebra was actually a cartoon donkey with stripes painted on. ;)
