Rooting for the new pills to work... That balance thing is a son-of-a-bitch... you never realize how much you take that for granted until it is gone...
MRI means it isn't anything else... now we can say 'just' an ear infection... which is not bad in itself because... well... it isn't..!
Insanity prevails- all that and they come up with inner ear infection? Did they look in your ears first? Anyway, hope the new pills work and the new doctor has a head on his stem. Hugs
Toon, the visuals tell the whole story, that's got to be a scary thing to happen to you (an MRI??? just the letters are frightening). Sheesh, way to freak a person out! But still, good to hear you're doing better. Just take it easy, OK? Rob (sending chicken soup to you mentally)
I had no idea there was any such thing as being able to have a virus in your inner ear... HOLY SHIT! Hope you are soon on the mend. I suspect you are since, you are tooning. :D
when this happened to me, the collapsing as the world was spinning and going to the hospital for an MRI and all that...they "determined" not much, medicine isn't an exact science is what they fall back on, but still they act like gods...hm. they said that my MRI showed evidence of an old stroke, uhm. wow. ok. and that there is something suspicious going on with that region of my brain {said while waving vaguely at the film in a way that could encompass the entire brain and corner of the room}. and oh, by the way, we think stress may have triggered this, so no more stress, k? really? none? wow, how is that even possible to eliminate all stress? HOW? tell me, tell me NOW!! this last one actually made lots of sense to me as at the time, i was a grad student working on my phd and that alone was stressful, but then there is life, and relationships, and and and and and...BOOM! now my life is much better....lots less stress...yea!!
russ, i hope that you feel lots better soon and do not have any recurring episodes of distressing dizziness and all. i hope the tiredness abates soon. and dude, you are the bestest.
OMG Russ!!!!! That was quite the ORDEAL. I am so sorry that this happened...but you sure do capture it on paper in an amazing way. Okay, I wish this didn't happen to YOU but I sure love the toon.
Please don't have any more illnesses/accidents. But draw them if you do ;-) Cin
I viewed it yesterday(& again today~hey, it was good). Content may be alarming, but the creativity & skill tell me you must really be at least 90% better. xoxoxoxoxoxoxo
