I'm a big fan of sunstone..I even wear that lipstick color often.

I think you and Andy Dufrense would have gotten along just fine... and Malagutigrrl is right... you would prolly made a fine technical or scientific illustrator... you are sooo talented..!

When I was a kid we had a rock collection that was in a box with the rocks glued down in their appropriately labeled square just like this.
