LOL!! A frog in yellow boots! I just woke up the dog giggling about this. One of my favorites, Russ!

This is appropriate on a day like today... rain and snow... you just GOT to believe that it is a yellow boot day for someone here in Omaha..! (I know for one 'special person' it is still a ride your bike to school day..!)

when i was a kid, we'd sneaker when the adults said, "getcher rubbers". how juvenile, right? mine were hand~me~down galoshes {not to be confused with the food goulash} that were a worn out dull yellow with a red elastic string that hooked over a lil red knob so that you could tighten them up some, the idea being that you'd seal it shut on the calves of your legs. but oh no, that would just seem to create a funnel for the slush to pour into your boots, settle around your ankles, allowing your feet to stew in cold wetness~~which made me want to pee. it was better to just wear plastic bread bags over my shoes, except then I'd end up sliding on Sunbeam wrappers. being a child is not an experience i care to repeat.

When you see frogs wearing rain boots, hold on to your butts (and make sure they're water tight).

In Africa they cling onto the (indoor) walls...& sometimes on to you. No boots though(unless those I saw were the unfashionable ones). ~Mary
