Bad churchy lady. I lived by the Methodist church in our small town and it was so calm back then we could go in the church anytime. No locked doors even at night.

I went to Catholic School (both grade school and high school) and played in the folk group for both our local church and my schools. I wasn't particularly in it either, but it beat the hell out of going to class when I had a perfectly good excuse to go and practice and organize.

It takes a REAL stretch for me to imagine you in a church choir, but it is a fun stretch. ~Mary

your churchy lady actually looks like one of the snarly women from Pink Floyd's The Wall~~the endlessly morphing figures browbeating lil pink.

{ronder, my word is "ronder" as in, "whalll, them kids ran cirles ronder", ronder}

I always used my trumpet case AS my lunch box. Put my lunch in a paper bag and fit it in the place where mutes are stored.

Still have my trumpet in the attic closet, let's jam:)

... and also crazy...

It has been my experience that characters like the organist are drawn to the church... and it heightens their psychosis... yelling at kids and calling them 'criminals' because they are powerless and invoking the authority of the holy power is one of the few times that they feel as if they are respected... they have to be, JESUS said so..!

You were prolly a neat little kid... maybe we'd have sat together at the lunch table or something... but I was a decent athlete as a kid, so I would have been with all the other cool jocks in gym class... and by 10, I had stopped going to crutc-- church...

Anywho... sorta awkward comment, but it works..!

So . . .
I'm slowly getting my life back in order and tonight I decided to check my reader. Your posts are delicious. I love this one. The nasty churchy lady reminds me of someone and it made me lmao to hear your description. ;) Thanks - I needed that laugh.
