COOL POST!! When I was a kid, there was a dirt road where I could find little garnets.DO you still pick up rocks? -Cin
Everything is temporary, but it sure feels perm when you are a kid.I still feel bad for him...uhm, I mean for you, that day.
I used to polish rocks, not sure what caused me to move past that phase.
Too cute, Toon! (and I still have geodes from when I was a kid, they fascinated me)
...aw... I remember that feeling... I would pick up long sticks and pretend they were rifles and often would find them discarded......I guess this explains your life-long aversions to Avon products..!
thanks for sharing these glimpses into your younger self. you're such a cool person with all sorts of treasures to share, russ. please don't ever forget that, debra.
What a pitiful little expression in that last frame. :( I STILL have a hard time passing a cool field of rocks.
I have several interesting rocks and I've picked them up since being an humm shall we say elderly person. My favorite is a samll rock shaped like a heart. You seemed to always be able to entertain yourself as a child. I like that.
Ahh, bad timing to drop a bag of rocks. Unless of course it's a nice Avon Lady with neat-O products.
You rock, Russ.
