tuesday

If we all stop buying these, maybe the people who stock vending machines will get the message.

I think if they used pure peanut butter, the crackers would get soggy. That's my theory. Try it at home: Take two Hi-Ho crackers, spread peanut butter on them, wrap in cellophane, and eat them a week later. My bet is that one bite would be all you could stand.

Don's youngest son & I used to mix Fluffernutter, Skippy & crushed Ritz crackers together & spread in on additional Ritz(& then tell his mom we had soup & a sandwich for lunch). Try that.

I bought fat-reduced peanut butter once & it tasted like Elmer's glue w/essense of peanut, maybe they use that.

Fillers, its all about cheep fillers, and then they add flavoring...to make it taste like something its suppose to be. No one reads labels but me...well I am sure others do, but not enough of us...

I think that is where the yellow cake that W. thought Sadaam had and went to war over is being used... between vending machine crackers, making them 'weapons of mass indigestion'..!

Cin, I'm just going to happen to be passing an offending vending machine in about two hours. Printing now. :D

We could make Russ famous this way...

And that stuff they call "beef" in Chinese food isn't beef either. It's monkey meat. And that's how I order it (which, coincidentally, is also how I know that that's what it is... I order Monkey Meat Lo Mein and they bring me "beef."

I just looked them up - they're NASTY with all sorts of controversial ingredients including the demon "high fructose corn syrup". My advice is to stay away from them. bleh!

It suspiciously has the same texture as lightweight spackling compound.
