Not to sound mean, but I always enjoy seeing a squirrel climb too far out on a thin branch that starts bouncing, causing the squirrel to get a look of total panic.

We have that picket-top type of fencing around the house and I love letting a squirrel get halfway out and then chasing it. The poor thing has a choice of falling towards me or the dog on the other side. I love how they twirl their tails around trying to get some balance. Mean, I know. But so amusing.
Great drawing :) Cin
That's kind of what Don looked like that time Briege was stuck (well, not stuck..she was trying to kill him he said)in a tree.
I just bet your local squirrels have you in their Google reader & the squirrel posse will be circling your house tonight. ~Mary
Smug rodents, they deserve their comeuppance!
It is fun to watch them in the trees, especially when they overextend. But then, we get to watch them up close as they try to rob the bird feeders as well.
Funny! You would think they would learn.
This reminds me of an obituary in the Onion newspaper:
"Late squirrel remembered as frantic, indecisive."
Hahaha!
And I can't believe you like the remake of DOTD better too-people YELL at me about that!
Dot is very excellent at bringing this situation about... :D
LOL... reminds me of yours truly the first time I looked over the edge of Victory Tower..! Plus, it is cute and would look fantastic on a card or something..!
I think you could be another Bill Watterston only with adult characters...
That is so mean-spirited Russ! And I love it. :)
love this!! it has a slightly different feel, sorta 70s sketch. wonderful
I can't even describe my laughter over this! Good one...
Wait, I bet if we look, there are some mature squirrels in another tree laughing at them!
hehehehe.. somethings never change :)
We also enjoy the squirrel circus - and I like to spice it up with buckeyes launched with a wrist rocket. (I'm a terrible aim, so they mostly laugh at me)
Lol.
