I just HAD to google it, didn't I?

The World Tree Fund was established in 2007, to enable the MÈRE Project Charitable Trust to channel proceeds from the sale of Tzolkin acoustic translations back to the Mayan community and to advance planetary reforestation. DMG/Darkmother.com has granted The MÈRE Project Charitable Trust exclusive license to the Mayan Book of Wisdom, in support of the World Tree Fund. The World Tree Fund will channel all the profits from the Trust's distribution of The Mayan Book of Wisdom to support organizations that are:
1) actively providing free health care and educational resources to the indigenous Mayan community on historic Mayan lands (48% of the profits) and
2) actively engaged in planetary reforestation, (52% of the profits)...

In order to get the World Tree Fund off to an healthy start, The MÈRE Project is giving the entire Mayan Book of Wisdom freely as a thank you gift to everyone who makes a Commencement Donation of $52.00 to the World Tree Fund. (That's like getting the entire set for less than 1/2 price!) All material donations to the fund are fully tax deductible."

As a planetary community, we must come up with ways to balance this planet's ecosystem quickly. There's an human factor in that balance and there's an environmental factor. The World Tree Fund addresses both by seeing to it that the Tzolkin acoustic translations serve to directly edify the indigenous Mayan people - there's a balance of planetary karma inherent to doing so - and that we have more forests around the world to help put an additional small dent in the mass of our carbon dioxide emissions. (Enough small dents and we can punch a hole in the motha...) If you're interested in the Tzolkin, Aztec Sun Calendar, 13 Moon Calendar or Dreamspell, join us; pitch in, any amount. If you like trees, if you support planetary reforestation as a solution to global warming, pitch in any amount. As one Tribe, let's make the World Tree Fund one with a canopy that surrounds the globe.
