My MOTHER ordered the "sea monkeys." I worry about my genes.

I'm loving the warning on the power crystal. I ordered the magic rocks (that grew crystals) and would rate them "meh."

My father would say (and in front of the candy machines too) "You don't get something for nothing Elizabeth Ann". I guess I heard it so much I say it now to people, and he did save me lots of candy money that is now going to a trainer :)

Memories you brought back- Thanks! I wanted an easy bake oven too!

You always make me laugh!

reading those ads was part of the whole comic book experience for me. we didn't get lots of them, but the ones that came to us were reread til they were smudged and falling about. since it was an assortment of comics, we never really knew what happened to the story/characters in the next serial, so we sharpened our imaginations by coming up with alternative endings that might fit. obviously, this post of yours brought back some memories! grins, debra

So instead of a giant skeleton in your room you have a loveable, giant Mexican in your room. That works.

someone gave me sea monkeys once. (sounds like a disease, when I put it like that.) anyway, big disappointment.

Man I used to want all of that shit in the back of Boys Life and comic books but my mom wisely wouldn't let me get it.
