this made me stop and think about the little memories from my childhood - I absolutely love this post!

You don't know how many times I wish it were possible, for adults to retain that childhood wonder. (Hugs)Indigo

Makes me remember playing baseball in the street and hating to be called in to wash the dishes every other night.

the first time my friend heard me singing roly~poly fish~heads, she thought it was off an alvin and the chipmunks record. she also thought that lita ford's kiss me deadly was actually kiss me dandy.

Those summer memories and events still happen, and when they do, they are even the more sweet since they are less frequent.

This has been a great summer because I get to watch it through my 11-year-old son. Catching fireflies, playing at the beach, looking at the moon through a telescope, smores...ahhh!

Actually, that's too close for comfort. Reminds me of many a summer night especially when I went through my "herb" phase in high school....

Damn I'm hungry and could go for a DQ Blizzard right now;)
