As many cats as I've owned in my life I have never owned a solid black one. Not because I don't like them it just happened that way. My daughter did own one she named Midnight.
Cinders was completely black and very tiny. Her one and only litter was two kittens. Full grown, she could sit in the center of a saucer with plenty of porcelain surrounding her. She was a lil lady, didn't like to be cuddled and fawned over. It was truly an honor if she decided to grace your lap with her presence. Then, you'd sit perfectly still, so as not to disturb her, even if that meant that your legs went numb from being in one position for hours. she was with us for ten years when i was a child. it's too bad that i'm allergic to cats now, tho.

You are so talented Toon- I wish I could draw that well...not a fan of cats, especially black ones around ladders...
