There are(often) self-serving motives for even generous acts, so I wouldn't feel too badly about it(& I bet you don't).

I can top that. Once my buddy Carson and I were riding bikes along a richy part where the Tournament Players Championship event is held (Ponte Vedra Beach) and he road through the course screaming like a banshee while I was laughing so hard I about fell off my bike.

Though I never would, I had an impulse to do the very same thing today - more as a humorous gesture than a mean one.
