I think it's an urban legend.
I love onions, no matter if they are purple, white, or yellow.
sadly {sigh} it is true, under heat, they turn blue and bleed into everything else around them, creating Blue Food. {shaking head}
Purple men are complicated, you have to peel them down, layer by layer to really get what's in side them and it's a tearful process.
